Great point indeed! We all probably do have some pens in our pouches en on our person, but what if someone else is attending you because you’re the injured one and you were only able to point out that you have a first aid kit in your bag and then pass out (dramatic, yes, but you never know).
I’m going to add a pen and paper. 🙂
Great point! Also I EDC a pen an 1 small piece of paper, I’ll add them to my IFAK.
BTW: As my IFAK includes also trauma stuff (medical shears, tourniquet, folded gauze, chest seal, etc.) it already includes a small sharpie. Also this has a fine tip it may be too thick to write more than the time on the TQ …

Why are you on the fence? It’s just a slightly taller and faster 4S, an incremental improvement.This is how I store my truck gun, I’d have done the vid from the jeep if I didnt think it would scare the :censored: out of the neighbors.
I think you got caliber confused with weight. 🙁 That’s the problem with the world today; too many people don’t know what they’re talking about. Caliber refers to either 1 the internal diameter of the barrel or 2 the diameter of the bullet being shot. 1 and 2 are really one and the same.

My IFAK is part of my EDC bag which I’m taking when traveling out of town, hikes, tours, etc. It’s designed as a “layman kit” = does not include anything that would not be considered as generic first aid stuff – hopefully avoiding any legal pitfalls, and hence should also be safe being used by a human not trained in (advanced) first aid.
Soft case with 3 side zipper, measurements: 14cm x 10cm x 7cm (5.5″ x 4″ x 2.8″) – not including the triangular bandage strapped on the back. The original first aid kit is sold once a year at LIDL grocery store chain in Germany for about 4 bucks – have replaced most of the kit, but case and some bandaids are a good starting point.
