KeymasterThere is no way for me to know, I don’t know the make and model, I don’t know if the device has a display screen, you say it is like the sangean I posted a picture of, that means it’s an “all in one” device: am/fm, Bluetooth, auxiliary input,USB input, micro sd input….most of them don’t have a proper navigation system as they don’t come with a display for the digital inputs, just the forward, reverse and play buttons.
Most of the young generation just use smart speakers these days, they use streaming services along with the speaker and just ask the speaker to play whatever they want from their playlist,
devices that do it all are plentiful but it’s still tough to find ones with a full display to navigate the digital because it is secondary function, the primary function is usually as a Bluetooth device, for sending an audio signal from a phone or tablet.Any organization of files has to be done at the computer where you are loading the USB, and for playback you will have to find the stuff you want to play by pushing the forward buttons.
You could buy multiple USB drives and use one for music, another for books and another for podcasts

KeymasterMy daughter bought something that looks like the Sangean Radio.
Has a AM/FM radio plus bluetooth and connection for a USB flash and SD cardWe intend to insert a USB flash, or maybe a SD card loaded with audio stuff
I still have the question about scrolling through audio files. How do you find the e-book or podcast that you want to listen to. Do you just scroll through all of them, or is there a way to organize those files, or at least divide them in a few folders (music folder, e-book folder, podcast folder )
Thanks

KeymasterMost audio devices will recognize audio file types such as mp3, wav etcetera exclusively, and ignore video.
Any device you intend to buy should have reviews online, or specs available to determine if it will play your files.
Have you a device in mind yet?Sent from my SM-T220 using Tapatalk

Here is a picture of my walkman playing on a Bluetooth speaker via the 3.5mm auxiliary cable and one via bluetooth[IMG]
Here is also pictured the walkman connected to my sangean radio, there is a model with Bluetooth but that one also has the auxiliary connection available. I can play whatever I want from the player as long as the media format is playable on my walkman. [IMG]admin
KeymasterHi everyone
Got another question about same audio gadgetSuppose I load it with many files of different types ( audio books, podcasts, music ..etc. )
How do I find the file I need ? Do I just press (next), (next),(next), until I find it
Is there a way to divide the files into 3 or 4 folders ??admin
KeymasterThanks
In the beginning, I hesitated a bit (in favor of a USB flash drive) because it is easier to plug it anywhere to copy stuff, but I was happily surprised that my laptop has an SD card port. So, that is what I am ging to doThanks

KeymasterSuggestion, buy affordable digital audio player with micro sd card expansion, it does not have to be super expensive, store all music on an SD card, plug adio player into auxiliary of any of the above speakers or radio.
They all have superb sound quality.
I plug my Sony WM A45 or my Xduoo Nano D3 into my sangean radio, or my Bluetooth speaker all the time using a 3.5mm jack and have no issues.
The reason I suggest storing the music on SD cards is you can get large capacity micro SD cards for decent prices, more storage means you can up the quality of the music files to better sounding formats with higher resolution, mp3 files really don’t sound that great but they take less room in storage.Sent from my SM-T220 using Tapatalk

KeymasterWhile it does contain a few trauma items, I do keep a Personal FAK on hand in my EDC bag, along with a more specific Trauma FAK as well.

KeymasterThat’s a very general description. What is the brand and model of the device that just broke down?

KeymasterI have an older … and ‘old school’ flip phone made by LG. When closed it is very compact. In the car it generally rides in the ‘pocket’ of the driver’s door armrest unless I am charging while I drive – in which case it rides in a cup holder. When I’m carrying it on person usually it is in a jacket or shirt pocket if I have such; else it is in a pocket in my jeans. Around the house it is usually in a pocket of my sweats – my usual home uniform!

KeymasterI wear 5.11 Ridgeline pants, I use the two front phone pockets for my phones (work and personal). Wish more companies offered those pockets on pants, everything I can find only has one pocket or is over $200 a pair

Keymasterugh loathe the apple ear buds… last resort only. they hurt my ears after a few hours of constant use.
i try to find a bargain pair, but decent. i really only use in-ear buds, with the soft-fleshy ‘nub’ for comfort and minimal weight/size. it’s hot out there.
mine really get used – in my ear for hours while mowing, thru rain sweat dirt and grime….
i had a pair of phillips last forever that i couldn’t have spent more than 20$ on. i bought some ifrogs for 15$ and they lasted a while, too. i currently am rocking some sony ones, probably in the same price range as the last pair. they’re pretty nice.
of course, my gal has some over the ear beats and she loves them.

KeymasterLooks interesting – 124 exhibitors!! That is about 104 more than at the recent knife show.
I suspect it may take longer than an hour to peruse all wares. -
