Keymaster1. 1Password (if there’s only ONE app I’d choose, it’s this)
2. Waze
3. Camera+ (best camera app ever)
4. Air Sharing (which lets you access MULTIPLE services/accounts like Dropbox, etc.)
5. Instagram (which I use to check into Foursquare)February 4, 2026 at 12:59 pm #151444admin
KeymasterSince you like Camera+ so much I wanted to link you to this thread about different camera apps:
http://www.edcforums.com/threads/iphone-picture-taking.107666/On another note, I’m seeing a lot of people mentioning Waze. Have you heard of Trapster?

KeymasterI guess Camera Awesome would be good if you didn’t want to pay. But honestly, I still think Camera+ is superior.
There’s only two things I like with Camera Awesome over C+ – the textures and the effectivity of the Awesomize feature; arguably more useful than C+’s Clarity (not that Clarity isn’t good)
But those two aren’t enough to supplant the quality of the effects C+ has. Just at a glance you can see clear differences in the effects previews whereas MOST other applications (including the apps mentioned in your link) just seem to favor quantity over quality – and the differences are too subtle that it can get annoying to find a filter to use.
I also love how you can choose the blend level of the effect – which proving to be invaluable – and that no other app seems to provide.
I do however like KitCam. It certainly has better granularity (probably the ONLY app than can do a fine-tuned rotation during crop, etc.) and the effects/adjustments seem promising.
I also love how it seems to afford the most “manual” feel of the lot (ie you can adjust exposure compensation apart from the exposure lock (which honestly kinda renders the separate exposure reticle feature pointless – since you can just adjust the slider till you get the exposure you want)
If they speed it up it may be a good replacement for C+

As for Trapster, I’m gonna give it a go. I like Waze because it works well in our country as a navigation device. Maybe Trapster would work better 🙂

KeymasterWhat advantages does Camera+ have over regular Camera app?
February 4, 2026 at 1:01 pm #151450admin
KeymasterI find most of the added features on the camera apps are quite gimmicky, I’d never use most of the features. That’s just me though…

KeymasterA lot of those camera apps really help brighten or just overall improve the image. The Aweomeizer function of Camera Awsome or the Clarity function with Camera+ are both excellent tools. It’s hard to go back to the regular camera app after using them.
I’m off to check out Snapseed. I need a good image editor
