True EDC? .380. Would I like something larger? Yes, and if I carried something larger I wouldn’t carry it for long so I’m left with a mouse gun. Better something than nothing.

9mm G26 depending on weather/dressno debate here, carry what works for you, like someone said, ‘something is better than nothing’
I carry 9mm, Speer Gold Dot 124gr right now, also have a slew of Hornady Critical Defense also 124gr
Colt .45 semi auto most days with either a .38 or a .380 backup. Just heard on the scanner a mom and kids locked in the bathroom. Intruder is in the basement. Mom has a handgun with her and husband is investigating. Sometimes any caliber is better than no caliber. What’s the best handgun and caliber? The one setting next to me on the couch. These scanner calls get me going. And shots fired calls all evening. So choose the best caliber and gun you can shoot well and be safe.
