KeymasterIn the Summer with hikers of various skill/experience be on the lookout for the effects of heat & exertion. Make sure you have a back up supply of water. If you’re not going by car w/ coolers for ice consider a chem ice pack to throw on someones neck (or ankle for a sprain, speaking of which add an ace wrap is also a good piece of kit to have-for bandaging as well). If you add “living well” to your requirements then add some gold bond type powder & consider for a week trip some day/nyquil gel caps.
