9mm for now. I waffle with the idea of switching to .45

.40 cal here. Self defense ammo is Federal HST 165 or 185 grain. Depending on what I can get my hands on, or if my wife is going to be using my gun.

Only do 9mm and 45.. I try to keep it to those two Pistol calibers so I’m not hoarding 8 different Pistol caliber ammo

I did 45 because I love 1911’s and most options are in 45. I did 9mm also because for range and small carry it’s economical without sacrificing power
