If it helps I absolutely love my 3″ Ruger SP101. It is my primary CCW. I do change it up every so often and carry my M&P9c or my P320sc. I also have a 4.2″ SP101 which is wonderful for range work. But, I cant wait till I can add an HK P30SK V1 LEM to the rotation.
I’ll +1 on this. I have the Wiley Clapp 2.25″ version and love it. It’s a dream to carry and shoots great. Superb quality.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KeymasterRuger just announced the LCRx 3″ with adjustable sights in .22LR
This is one I’ll have to own, although I’d have been happier with a 6 round cylinder instead of 8.

KeymasterSo I just stopped in a lgs today and they had a nearly new (possibly never fired) LCR .357. I was really impressed when I held it. I was looking for a 3″ barrel .357, but I liked the gun and the price was right, so I put a down payment on it.

This has been my primary CCW piece for a couple years now. It’s a great little wheelgun. I changed out the front sight for an XS Standard dot night sight, but that’s it aside from shooting and cleaning it.
Even though it’s a snubbie, it’s not too bad when launching a few magnums now and then. That said I typically only carry .38 +P as follow up shots are a bit easier. It’s nice to have options, though.
Hope you enjoy it!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I liked the lighter frame of the .38, and 38+P is all I’ll ever use for CCW, so I went with the .38 in both 2″ and 3″. I put a Novak front tritium sight on the 2″ and a Meprolight front tritium sight on the 3″.The .22 will be a perfect companion piece for walks “in the wilds of…” 😀

KeymasterI just picked up a stripped Gen 3 Glock 17 frame as a project. Just need to decide on a direction to go with it.
My next complete handgun might just be the new striker fired Beretta.

KeymasterPicked up a Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm a couple of weeks ago. It has become my CCW weapon.

KeymasterKind of liking what I am reading about the new S&W M&P 2.0. Also liking the FDE version. Anyone have any opinions on it?

It’s an M&P, so it is very ergonomic. Since it is still an M&P, the trigger still sucks IMHO. Better that the previous generation, but still nowhere near a Sig P320, VP9 or PPQ.December 1, 2025 at 7:40 am #117676admin
KeymasterI’m wrapped around the axle at the moment wanting a Browning Hi-Power, but if I could get over that I think I’d like a threaded CZ, like a P1.

KeymasterI have an ongoing AR15 pistol project…. yeah I know, why?… currently with a LAW engineering folding stock adapter for the buffer tube, and 10.5 in barrel… soon to have a 7″… see if I can get it to run with a short barrel…

I have yet to pick one up. I’ve been looking at the P320 and VP9. The 320 seemed a really nice pistol -
