What caliber do you carry?

CC 9mm in Cities. CC .357 hiking. Pocket carry .45 long colt out and about locally or when dining out.

40 S&W Hornady Critical Defense in G27 or G22.

You can find examples of anything.
It’s not just the size of the bullet.
I would always at lease double tap, that’s two nines in you.
Also, it’s better to shot something you can handle.
You ask the thousands and thousands of police that carry nines.
Also, the most important thing it the placement of the shots.
A lot more to it then just caliber.

I thought the Miami shootout was more about the agents using revolvers vs semi-autos? Even the US military SOF community is using 9mm (SEAL’s just adopted Glock 19’s).

Either 9mm or .38spl +p. I CC either a Glock 19 or a 43. Occasionally a Glock 17. And pocket carry a S&W 442 from time to time.

9mm, whether it be my Glock 19 or 43. I’m extremely pleased with the 9mm round. Overall performance is phenomenal, no wonder a lot of departments are going back to it.

As for brand, a few different ones. But I’m pretty happy with the sig v-crown 124grain.
