KeymasterThere is so much out there i literally go crazy trying to figure out how to acquire the 10-15 handguns that seem very appealing to me lol.
In an effort to achieve some other personal financial goals and to maintain consistency in training, I’m transitioning to only purchasing Glocks in the future, as they fit me well stock and are easy to acquire holsters, mags are interchangable among same caliber models, reasonably priced, etc. Plus, i can maintain 9 and 45 for defense and carry and a 10mm for backpacking/camping. That said my next gun will be a glock 17 to round out the collection.
I agree to never sell a gun. I too have regretted every gun i’ve sold. My only non-Glock left is a HK 45c, which i’ll keep. Thought about getting a P30 but I can’t do the whole $80.00 magazine thing anymore lol.

KeymasterProbably a Glock 20, (I know they’re discontinued). Fullsized 10mm, with an Osprey .45acp suppressor. Hog hunting gun. 😎

KeymasterIs the GLOCK 20 discontinued?
First I’ve heard that.

KeymasterI am getting excited about a Sig Sauer M11-A1.
Needing vs. wanting is such a struggle…November 29, 2025 at 8:59 am #115918admin

May I ask why?November 29, 2025 at 8:59 am #115920admin
KeymasterG26 or S&W compact in 9mm. After that Ruger 1911

KeymasterI’d like to trade my Gen 4 G23 for a Gen 4 G22. Beyond that, I really don’t know. I’ve had a few and traded them for others and I have a number of guns as it is. I currently own an M&P22 but traded both my M&P9 and M&P45 for a Gen 3 G17 and the Gen 4 G23. I like full sized guns. But, I also have the LCR in 22 WMR revolver, a traditional 10/22 Ruger carbine, Mosin-Nagant (one traditional that I’m refinishing – it’s all apart and another sporterized model), Maverick 88 and I guess that’s it.
Oh, I know – I’ve always really wanted an AK47. Anything you can sling in the water and muck and it still shoots everything you put through it is for me.

KeymasterI would like a pocket sized S&W .357 someday.

KeymasterOver the past decade, I sold off a very nice S&W M37 (flat-latch) and LCR. I really miss my 5-shot snubby’s, so I picked up this little thing….
It’s a S&W M637-2. Got it lightly used for a song.
Resides in a cheapo Uncle Mike’s #3 for the moment, but a call to Mika Holsters will change that soon. I’m considering bobbing the hammer as I have no use for SA in a snubby. Will probably replace my LCP for summer carry/trail hiking gun very soon.
Gotta love those snubby’s.

Keymastermoostapha I’ve typed & deleted a response to this 3 times now. I’m not sure exactly how to put it, without it being taken wrong. it has nothing to do with function. I know they’ve worked out all the kinks with the double spring, but I don’t see a need for it. I’ve already got an outstanding polymer gun with a double spring in my H&K usp. I don’t care for the new texture of the gen4’s at all. And as for the backstraps, I’m sure it’s great for some folks out there, but I prefer the “cookie cutter” every glock, grips & points just like every other glock out there, over the option to customize. I much prefer the gen3, and even better still, the 3.5 (rtf). The 17rtf with the gills, is the model that made me like a glock in the first place. I really hate they d/c’d it. It’s a personal thing, but I just don’t see the changes they made in the new models as positive.

KeymasterI get that. I was just curious.
I have mixed feelings. Basically, nothing about the difference mattered to me. The ones I’ve shot, I couldn’t tell you which generation they were. Apparently, gen 2 and 1 didn’t have finger grooves. I HATE the finger grooves. They’re a lot of the reason I didn’t buy a glock first.

KeymasterEvidently my next one is Glock 42 which I got last Friday as opportunity knocked but was not really planned for either.
Interesting little gun. Amazing soft shooter and just a Glock all the way for better and worse!
Really good feel in my hand and I like a bigger grip in general but have also adapted well enough to much smaller models than this 42.I don’t see me getting rid of the PPK/S or LCP but now I just have more choices, yeah thats it more choices!

KeymasterJust got a Springfield XDs, and love it. It was great shooting rigut out of the box. Single stack 9mm, came with two mags, one 7 and one 8 rd, but i also purchased an extended 9 rd. I have shot it up to 25 yards, and is very accurate even at distance. Plus it fits my big hands, and will be easily concealable as well with the 7 rd mag.
